Leylandii (Green) 240-250cm | Batch of 5 | Landscape Quality

This is a batch of 5 Landscape Quality Leylandii hedging plants in 11 litre pot bags or 10 litre pots. They are reduced in price as the quality of the plants is not up to our usual quality. We only have one batch of 5 plants so once they have sold, we will not have any more.

They are not as bushy as our usual top quality plants (they are thinner). They may also have a bent stem. This will not matter once they have formed a dense hedge as you will not see the bent stem.

Some or all of the plants may be a paler green than normal. This is because they are running out of feed in the pot and need to be planted out. Once planted, they will be able to take up feed from the soil and they will green up again to the usual dark green colour. We suggest adding some of our 12-14 month controlled-release fertiliser to the soil when planting. This will help them green up quicker and ensure they have all the nutrients they need for their first year.

We recommend planting them 2-3ft apart depending on how tall you want the hedge to be and how quick you want the screen to form. You can use our hedge spacing calculator to help.

All our Landscape Quality plants are healthy and will form a good hedge but it will take a bit longer than with our usual top quality plants.

We measure all our plants from the top of the pot to the top of the plant so they will be the height stated when planted (unless you plant them too deep!).

Our prices include VAT but do not include delivery. We ship most of our hedging plants on pallets. Prices for delivery of a pallet of plants start at £49 but the actual cost will depend on your postcode and how many pallets of plants you need. Please add all your plants to your basket and proceed to the checkout where delivery cost will be calculated. You can also choose a delivery date at this stage.

Please note that the picture is of an established hedge. The plants will be delivered as individual plants, not as an established hedge. They will form a dense hedge over time.
