Find the right hedge for you

Limited Special Offer price only while stocks last.  As we are trying to clear a bit of space on the nursery, we have reduced the price of these leylandii to clear a few so we can pot up more!  You can choose your  delivery date during the checkout process.

These are our top quality, fast-growing green Leylandii hedging plants that are between 2m and 2.25m tall when delivered. We do not include the pot when we measure the height. The height is measured from the top of the rootball to the tip of the plant so will be the height when planted (as long as you don’t plant them too deep).

These leylandii are in 10 litre pots which are approx 28cm wide by 23cm deep. We recommend a minimum hole size of 42cm wide (square) by 25cm deep.

Delivery is usually within 1-5 working days, please choose your delivery date during the checkout process. Choose Premium Delivery for our quickest delivery option – if you order before 11am, we can normally deliver on the next working day.

We recommend you plant your leylandii between 60 and 100cm apart (2-3ft) depending how quick you want the hedging plants to fill in and form a dense screen. Plant at 60cm (2ft) apart if you want the leylandii to “fill in” and form a screen more quickly or plant at 1m (3ft) apart if you are willing to wait a bit longer for the hedge to form. A good compromise is 75cm (2’6″) apart. You can use our Hedge Spacing Calculator to work out how many you need.

Leylandii are fast-growing plants that grow up to 1m or 3ft a year as long as they are given the best conditions for growth. We always recommend that you plant them well, water them well and feed them well. We recommend our 12 month controlled release feed that has all the nutrients to keep them fed for the first year. When you plant them, make sure you break up the soil so it is not compacted and the roots can get into the soil easily. This makes a big difference to how much growth the plants put on in the first year.  If you plant in the drier months (March to October), we recommend to keep a close eye on how much water the plants need until the rain wets up the soil in the winter (normally around November time). Please see our planting advice guide in our advice section (top menu).

Prices are per plant and include VAT but not delivery. For delivery charges, see our Delivery page or add the plants to your basket and the delivery charge will be calculated as you go through the checkout process.
