Privet (Ligustrum ovalifolium) is semi-evergreen which means they keep their leaves except when grown in containers or in very windy, exposed sites in the colder regions of the UK. In most regions of the UK, when grown in the soil, Privet tends to keep its leaves.

We recommend planting 1 trough per metre (3’3″) for an instant hedge.

Please note: we measure height from the top of the compost in the trough to the top of the plant. Heights quoted will be the height of the plants on delivery. The eventual height of the hedge will depend on pruning.
