These are rootballed plants that are dug from the field with a ball of soil around the roots. The ball of soil is wrapped in hessian and they can be planted as they are.
These 1m to 1.2m tall Laurels are fantastic bushy hedging plants. All laurel hedges are evergreen (they keep their leaves all year round).
These are also called Prunus laurocerasus ‘Rotundifolia’, Common Laurel or Cherry Laurel.
These Laurel hedging plants should be planted between 60 and 100cm apart (2-3ft apart) depending on how quick you want the hedge to form a complete screen. See our hedge spacing calculator for help working out the number of plants you need.
NB We measure height from the top of the rootball to the top of the plant so the height quoted is the height they will be from ground level when planted (as long they are not planted too deep!)
