These are Hornbeam (Carpinus betulus) instant hedging troughs 1 metre wide. They are ready-grown for an immediate screen. Just dig a trench and plant them in for a ready-made hedge. Plant 1 per metre.

We measure from the top of the trough to the top of the plant.

Please note that Hornbeam is not evergreen although it usually holds on to its dried leaves over the winter to create a screen.  It is very similar in look to Beech (Fagus sylvatica).
